In line with national guidance we have made some changes to our service as part of Locala's COVID-19 response. The service continues with telephone and online consultations. The information below relates to the usual services we provide.
The Locala Dermatology team is based at the Moorfield Clinic at Fartown Health Centre in Huddersfield. To be referred to the Dermatology team please see your GP and they will refer you where appropriate.
As a service we commonly deal with cases of moderate to mild acne and eczema. But we also deal with a huge range of skin conditions of which a comprehensive list can be found here.
A small bio of the team can be found on our Meet the Team page and it gives you a little background information into the team and their working hours.
On a recent survey 91.67% of our patients said that their experience with us was either ‘good’ or ‘very good’.
‘I felt completely at ease despite having been worried all day. The doctor I saw was really lovely and totally put me at ease.’
‘I always have excellent service from the department.’
‘A very efficient service. Well managed with the restrictions that are in place.’
