Locala is committed to our patients and local communities being at the heart of all that we do. We want to hear from and involve you in how our community healthcare services are delivered. There are various ways you can get involved.
Be better informed about Locala and the community healthcare services we provide, and have your say in how we shape and deliver our services. You can also be involved in the future development of Locala and influence how it grows. You will receive regular updates about what is going on at Locala in healthcare locally, receive invitations to complete surveys and take part in engagement activity and can join our Reader’s Panel to review patient information. - You can be involved as much, or as little, as you like.
Work directly with our services and you can use your skills and experiences to support our services and benefit our patients. See our Volunteers page for more information.
The Locala Community Fund provides grants to community groups in Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees. The fund is open once a year for groups to apply for up to £1500.00.
For 11 to 19 year olds we have a youth network with young people invited to consider the health, wellbeing and community issues that affect them. We aim to give the young people the space and skills needed to challenge, and improve, their healthcare services and communities.
You might wish to give feedback about Locala services you have used. We really do want to know what you think.
