Immunisation Service

Electronic immunisation consents - school immunisation programmes

Immunisation consent until now has been obtained on paper via pupil post.  From September 2021 all school Immunisation campaigns both consent/decline will be obtained electronically streamlining the service for all concerned.

Parent/guardians will receive a link via their child’s school which will direct them to the E Consent website. This has all the information about the vaccine being offered, presentations by the Immunisation Team, How To Guide with screenshots and links for each type of school vaccination. Simply select the ‘’button’’ for the Immunisation that your child is being offered, this will take you to the Online Consent form.

Parents will be provided with a six digit code in the message from school,  this code will link your child’s details to the correct school session.

The e-consent system automatically sends emails to keep you up to date throughout the whole process, from the first email booking your child onto the school session, a confirmation email to advise you once the vaccination has been administered, and if your child is absent from school you will receive an email the same day for you to book your child into a catch up clinic on a date and time convenient to you.
