Common Foot Problems - Gout

Gout is a type of arthritis that causes sudden, severe joint pain due to a build-up of uric acid in the body. The affected joints are initially very painful and inflamed, and may become enlarged with pale, lumpy lesions over time. Painkillers can help relieve the pain, while healthier lifestyle choices and medication can help prevent future attacks.

Who is eligible?
