This year Locala’s Annual Members’ meeting, plus a Special Members’ meeting, will be hosted from our headquarters at Beckside Court, Batley. For reasons of social distancing however they will be broadcast from Beckside Court to members via Microscoft Teams on Tuesday 28th September 6.30-8pm.
The Annual Members’ Meeting provides the opportunity for all Locala’s colleagues and community members to get together, along with members of the public, to find out more about what Locala have achieved in the past year. It is hosted by the Locala Members’ Council and will also include the induction of our newest colleague and community members’ joining Members’ Council
Further sessions will take place during the week for colleagues to join, including information about Locala’s colleague volunteering offer and an overview of the work of the Engagement Team from the last year.
The end of the week also marks the beginning of celebrations for Locala’s 10th Birthday – as we became an organisation in October 2011. Celebrations will start with a 2011 themed quiz for our colleagues, with more celebrations and activities to be announced throughout the year.
