Foot Health

The Podiatry Service offers assessment, diagnosis and treatment of problems associated with the foot and lower limb.
These problems could include:
- leg threatening conditions associated with chronic health problems such as diabetes
- functional problems with the lower limb requiring corrective insoles known as biomechanics
- minor surgery for permanent removal of ingrowing toenails
- treatment to maintain and improve mobility
The team assists patients to maintain their own foot health with advice, education, and support.
Referrals
All new patients require a referral from a Health Care Professional.
Clinics are held in the following locations:
Cleckheaton Health Centre
Dewsbury Health Centre
Batley Health Centre
Ravensthorpe Health Centre
Birkenshaw Health Centre
Patients with diabetes may need to go to Dewsbury & District Hospital for their assessment.
