Foot Health

The Podiatry Service offers assessment, diagnosis and treatment of problems associated with the foot and lower limb.

These problems could include:

leg threatening conditions associated with chronic health problems such as diabetes
functional problems with the lower limb requiring corrective insoles known as biomechanics
minor surgery for permanent removal of ingrowing toenails
treatment to maintain and improve mobility

The team assists patients to maintain their own foot health with advice, education, and support.

All new patients require a referral from a Health Care Professional.

Patients with diabetes may need to go to Dewsbury & District Hospital for their assessment.
