We are offering a mixture of face to face and telephone appointments at different times throughout the day. If you would like to book an appointment please contact us on:

Our phone lines are open Monday to Wednesday 8:30am-6:30pm and Thursday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm (excluding bank holidays).

STI Online Testing

SH:24 offer a free and discreet STI (sexually transmitted infections) testing service for Wigan and Leigh residents over the age of 16. Visit the SH24 website to see if you're eligible to order a free home testing kit.

Emergency Contraception 

Emergency contraception tablets can be taken up to 5 days after sex. 

We provide this free of charge. To book an appointment please call us on 01942 949 167. 

You can also visit an enhanced sexual health pharmacy many of which are open evenings and weekends. However there may be a cost for this service. Please click here to find your nearest pharmacy. 

Or you can see your GP (make sure you tell the receptionist why you are attending), or for out of hours phone the NHS Service on 111. They can provide this service free of charge. 


Have you been sexually assaulted?

Sexual assault can happen to men or women of any age. You could have been attacked by a male or female, a stranger or someone you know, and a sexual assault can take place anywhere, including in your home or workplace. If you've been sexually assaulted there are services that can help you.
