You are able to get the pill, condoms and contraceptive injection from your GP. Some GP’s may offer the coil and implant as well.


Some pharmacies offer the the contraceptive pill without a prescription. Click here to find your nearest contrapcetive pharmacy.

  • Princess Royal Health Centre, Huddersfield every Monday between 3:30pm-7pm

Our Under 18s clinic in Huddersfield is changing. From Thursday 3rd July 2025, our dedicated under 18s queue and wait clinic at Princess Royal Health Centre will be running every Thursday from 3:30pm-7pm. Our last clinic on a Monday will be on held on the 23rd June 2025.

  • Cleckheaton Health Centre every Tuesday between 3:30pm-7pm
  • Leigh Health Centre, every Tuesday between 3pm-5pm
  • The Orange Rooms, Tameside every Tuesday between 3:30pm-6:30pm.
  • Howard House, Bradford every Wednesday between 3:30pm-6:30pm
  • The Choices Centre, Stockport every Wednesday between 3:30pm-6:30pm
  • Wigan Sexual Health, every Wednesday between 3pm-5pm

If you live in Kirklees, you are able to self refer to MSI if you are wanting a coil or implant fitting for contraception purposes.
