Children's Physiotherapy

We are physiotherapists who specialise in assessing and treating children. We treat a wide range of conditions using specialist skills to maximise independence and function of the child.  Our staff are registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and have Enhanced CRB checks.  Some are also members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP).

We work alongside other professionals, parents and educational staff in providing advice, postural management, and assessing for equipment. Individual exercise programmes can be provided and reviewed and adapted as indicated.

We have staff based in the Child Development Centre (CDC) at Dewsbury and District Hospital. We see children here, at home and in the education setting (Kirklees). Children will be assessed and treated at the place deemed appropriate by the therapist.
