**PLEASE NOTE – IN LINE WITH NATIONAL GUIDANCE WE HAVE MADE SOME CHANGES TO OUR SERVICE AS PART OF LOCALA'S COVID-19 RESPONSE**

Our Diabetes Team are still accepting referrals. Most of our clinics are now being run virtually, however, the team will see patients face to face if that is their preference.
Following national guidance our DAFNE Diabetes and DESMOND courses are currently suspended.

Note: the information below relates to the usual services we provide.

We have a team of Specialist Diabetes nurses who educate and support people with diabetes to help them control, understand and manage their diabetes and live as full a life as possible.

The Team run a number of clinics across Greater Huddersfield and work with consultants in the Out Patients department at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. Home visits are also available for the housebound. Diabetes specialist services are provided by Mid-Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust in north Kirklees.
