How do I get referred?

You may be referred by your GP, other health care professional, or self referral.

How long do I have to wait once I have been referred?

Once referred, you will be put on a waiting list. Patients who are newly referred to the service will be offered either an initial phone call or a clinical consultation, where we will assess your needs. What do I do if I need a home visit?

Please be aware we reserve home visits for those patients who are unable to leave their home at all. People who are able to go to their GP surgery, go shopping, to the hairdressers, to visit family, on holiday etc are NOT classed as housebound.

If you are able to access a car / taxi, with or without assistance, we expect you to attend one of our clinics for treatment.

Do you treat children?

Yes, advice and treatment will be given as necessary. children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
