We are looking for members to join our new Quality Group...

Locala has joined an NHS England scheme called "Sign up to Safety". The aim of this initiative is to improve the safety of patient care. In signing up to the scheme Locala has commited to five pledges which are to:

  • put safety first
  • continually learn
  • be honest
  • collaborative
  • be supportive

We are keen to involve members in this and other quality related initiatives - as representatives of our workforce, communities and patients. We are therefore inviting any members, with an interest in ensuring the services we deliver are as safe and effective as possible, to join a new Quality Group. We would like as many members as possible to get involved, so if you are not able to attend meetings don't worry - we will be finding other ways for you to add your views!

If you would like to get involved we would love to hear from you, please contact us at:

We are looking for Mystery Shoppers

Our Mystery Shopping programme is now up and running. The first Mystery Shopping briefing session was held earlier this month and our Mystery Shoppers are now ready to start visiting reception waiting areas in Locala bases. Mystery Shoppers will act as a ‘critical friend’, and have a positive role to play in ensuring that we are delivering excellent customer service. If you are interested in getting involved and would like to have a briefing session, please contact: for more information.

Help us change things for the better

Our Customer Experience Group look at patient feedback, identify things that can be improved, and help us change things for the better. If you are interested in attending, please let us know.

Are you a parent of a child under five, living in Kirklees?
