Contraception and Sexual Health
Locala offers a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL contraception and sexual health service in a number of clinics that are situated in easy to access locations.
Patient Notice - Redesigning sexual health services in Kirklees!
The new service will bring together genito-uninary medicine (G.U.M Clinic) services and community based contraception and sexual health services (CaSH). We want a more straight forward pathway for people using the services – so for example you need contraception, you will also be able to get screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, all under the same roof!
Kirklees Healthwatch Advisor, Clare Costello, will be asking you questions in confidence on how you feel about the integration of the services.
This will take place across the Batley, Cleckheaton, Dewsbury and Princess Royal, Huddersfield Clinics. If you would like more information, please contact your local contraceptive and sexual health clinic for the time and date of the Q&A session.
Kirklees Young People Friendly - This site is designed for young people to get advice on contraception and sexual health.
Locala Family Nurse Partnership - Our Family Nurse Partnership nurses support young mums aged 19 years and under who are expecting their first baby.
Locala School Nurses - The School Nursing Service works in partnership with Families, Education, Social Care and other professionals supporting children and young people to ensure that their health needs are being met.
