Breastfeeding Support

Breastfeeding your baby gives him or her the best possible start in life and has many benefits for both you and your baby. As well as help and guidance from your midwife and health visitor, Locala has a network of local mums who volunteer at our Baby Cafes and Baby Bistro.
Baby Bistros are run by our trained volunteer mums who want to use their experience to help others. Baby Cafes are Breastfeeding Centres of Excellence run by a Breastfeeding Counsellor, Specialist Midwife and Breastfeeding Champion. They offer guidance and advice to mums having problems breastfeeding.
If you are pregnant and want support or information about feeding your baby, or if you would like to meet up with other breastfeeding mothers in a relaxed, friendly environment drop into your local support group.
