Cervical Screening Campaign in Kirklees

Locala is supporting a new campaign across Kirklees from January to March  to encourage women aged 25-34 to attend a smear test in areas where uptake is lowest.  The campaign is also calling for mothers of the women in this age group to encourage their daughters to take the test.

You will soon be seeing bus advertising, bus stop advertisements, advertisements on Capital radio and leaflets.

This campaign has been organised by NHS Kirklees, the local primary care trust, in collaboration with other PCTs in the Yorkshire Cancer network areas.

More information about the campaign can be found on the dedicated website www.mysmeartest.co.uk
