What Our Patients Say

  • “The sessions were fantastic and very enjoyable”
  • “Other services have let me down but not Jodie - it's been brilliant”
  • “My child has improved and has used her skills in everyday life e.g. the play toys Jodie recommended strengthened and improved the use of her muscles which allowed my child to go on further and explore more. Now my daughter attempts to pull herself up the sofa and tables. I feel much more confident to continue. I think I understand better now, what toys are more beneficial to suit her needs. In general, I feel I have benefitted too as well as my child.”
  • The sessions were brilliant at showing me how to help my son progress at achieving various milestones”
  • My child expresses more, though only I may understand what she is trying to express. My child engages more with me. My child gives me more eye contact. My child recognises me. My child interacts with others more than before.”
  • “I feel my son has benefited greatly from play therapy he has hit every goal set out for him. They are easy tasks that can be carried out every day to help with development. My son particularly struggles with sensory issues so having messy play was fun for everyone and I saw improvements pretty quickly.”
  • “I know to use objects of reference and ways to make my son use his voice. I also know how he can signal a choice and to give the opportunity to make a choice. I have learnt what kind of toys he likes and plays with”
